Sandpipers
This table is rather different from my normal fare, both in its “realism” and the use of seashell pieces as the central mosaic material. The subject is sandpipers and two are shown on the North Carolina beaches that provided the raw material for their creation. The water and sand are a mixture of everyday and colored beach sands. The border material is square glass mosaic tiles with a sea glass feel. The base is dark wood and includes one small drawer. The top is 20 x 39 and 1/2 inches and the table stands 18 and 1/2 inches high. PLEASE NOTE: The mosaic is on wood with glass overlaid on top and needs to be handled with care.
